The Persians had one day arrived on our shores, but swiftly their advance was repelled! Their number was five times that of ours; by fear of our lives we were held!
Amongst their ranks stood Hippias, the tyrant whom we had exiled! His was a sordid, disgraceful intent, dripping with hatred and guile!
Upon our bastions of hopeless defense, death watched in fervor unveiling a devilish smile!
Though gripped by the claws of despair, and faced with the end of our lives, we knew that the traitor was near, and that soon he would meet his demise! Many were slain on both sides, as we withstood their attacks! To death, we fought with pride, as they were taken aback!
We confined their army to Marathon, a perfect location to defend! They came to terms with the stalemate, though sudden conflict did impend!
Abruptly they strode toward our lines, their arrows did promptly descend! We marched in to meet them face to face; our flanks moved out to circumvent!
Our trump card was instantly brought into play: Our hoplites were vastly superior, to the greatest extent!
Though gripped by the claws of despair, and faced with the end of our lives, we knew that the traitor was near, and that soon he would meet his demise! Many were slain on both sides, as we withstood their attacks! To death, we fought with pride, as they were taken aback!
None were relieved of their violent fate with the exception of one: The traitorous tyrant, Hippias, whose actions could not be undone!
The entire city of Athens cheered, with the glorious sun overhead! With the triumphant cries all around, it was me who severed his head! - Track Name: Pantheion

The light starts to dim, as Ra withholds day,
Memphis is in disarray!
A mortal despair, a petrified cold,
Blankets the nomes as foretold!
The eyes of the gods, beholding their fear,
Illume with expressions austere!
Convicted are all, and worthy are none!
Their heresy must be undone!
Khepri invokes the deceased by his will...
Heeding his call, they obey!
Scarabs come forth from their brittle remains...
Untold in number are they!
Every horizon is tainted in full,
The landscapes violently quake!
Pestilence... Swarms!
Death descends on its wings!
Forthwith onlookers wither away,
Nothing remains in their wake!
The cries pierce the air, as judgment is served,
The wailing and prayers go unheard!
In moments of death, the firstborn are slain,
Survivors are cursed and plagued!
The eyes of the gods, beholding their fear,
Illume with expressions austere!

Sekhmet ascends from the horrible depths...
Her children emerge from the ground!
Hissing and endless as the sea...
To Sekhmet's will they are bound!
Terrible creatures ravage the land,
Thirsting for human flesh!
With vengeance and disgust for the living there...
The gods look down upon the death and demise of wicked man!
As the final day drew near,
And mankind paid for its sins...
Osiris motioned for the end,
And time kneeled down to him!
Finally mankind became extinct,
The Nile ran thick with blood!
Bodies decayed, and scattered throughout,
Majestic dawn ensued...
The Pantheion looked down upon their work,

The emissary's head to us returned!
This hostile gesture will not be ignored...
With the blessing of Odin, war was affirmed!
For days we journeyed into south,
Across the perilous scapes!
Over the hills, hidden in shroud...
To where our enemies await!
The splendorous sun watches over us all,
Our steel and armor bright as gold!
As we prepare ourselves for...
War!
The blood of our enemies will drip from our swords!
Troubled we'll be...
Nevermore!
We will vanquish their men and butcher their young!

On the horizon, their city now in view...
Unsuspecting are they!
The king and his heroes formulate our plans...
We abide till the end of the day!
The sound of horns calls them out to fight,
And signifies the shedding of their blood!

Morning comes, the glorious break of dawn!
